The great ends of the church are the proclamation of the gospel for the salvation of humankind; the shelter, nurture, and spiritual fellowship of the children of God; the maintainance of divine worship; the preservation of the truth; the promotion of social righteousness; and the exhibition of the Kingdom of Heaven to the world

OUR VISION

Our vision is to be a congregation who worships God, appreciates each others’ gifts, values spiritual growth and works for peace and justice for others. Working together we can become a more active vibrant congregation.

Our Church Core Values

A congregation is a continuation of the group of disciples who followed Jesus during his earthly ministry. We embrace five core values we feel are consistent with Jesus ministry.

• We are learners: some of us may have more experience than others but we all still have a lot to learn in leading a faithful life.

• Everyone is important: each of us has gifts and talents to share.

• Always give practical help: In our mission we look to the needs of specific groups.

• We all live in and function through groups: we are not just individuals, we minister to and minister from groups whether they be family, friends or church.

• Always move forward: with God’s help we celebrate the past, enjoy the present but embrace and move into the future.

Our Church Goals

• Develop a higher degree of involvement and leadership from members through stated commitments and focused committee work.

• Provide the resources necessary for our members to grow spiritually, becoming better disciples

• Obtain a consistent, sustainable growth in worship attendance and membership.

• Encourage greater participation from members through activities focused on mission outreach and spreading the gospel.
